The Denim Potholders: Made of 100% cotton denim. The inside is triple layered to protect your hands against oven and pan heat. The potholder features a brass grommet for hanging when not in use. To create the beautiful bleached effect on the fabric, the solid blue color denim is taken through a reverse dye process. The fabric is inserted in a heated bath of RID Color Remover to pull the blue dye out of the fabric. Once the fabric has reached the desired color, it is then washed in hot water and phosphate-free detergent to remove the leftover color. NOTE: Because of the dyeing process, each potholder is unique in color and the "bleached" effect.
